Hi everyone,
it's our pleasure to introduce the agenda for the fourth Zurich HashiCorp User Group Meetup event.

18:10 - 18:15: Host's/Organizer's welcome messages

18:15 - 18:45: The secret sauce of Terraform & Azure
by Michael Rueefli, Marcel Zehner, MSFT MVPs, Partners at make it noble

Abstract:
Terraform provider for Azure Resource Manager has become a powerful toolbox to provision easy to complex infrastructures and services on Microsoft Azure.
The session uncovers some of the not so well known secrets and experiences we’ve made in customer projects..

18:45 - 19:15: Diving into Terraform modules
by Benjamin Stauffacher, System Engineer at Adfinis SyGroup

Abstract:
Microsoft provides a set of Terraform modules for the most important Azure services. We have worked with those modules and also contributed into the original repositories. In this session we will explain what Terraform Modules are and how they are used. We demonstrate the usage of the Terraform Modules for Azure and how you can benefit as a Azure User.

19:15 - 19:25: Break, networking, drinks

19:25 - 20:00: How to contribute to the Terraform Provider for Azure
Tom Harvey, Lead Engineer for Azure Terraform provider at HashiCorp

Abstract:
So a new service/feature just got announced and you want to use that in Terraform?
In this talk, I’ll demonstrate how you can add support for a new resource to Terraform - covering the process from creating a new file to adding acceptance tests to ensure the new resource works as intended. By the end of this talk we should have sent a Pull Request adding support for the new feature.
(Note: whilst this talk is focused on the Azure Provider, it‘s mostly applicable for Terraform other providers too)

20:00 - : Networking, apero, pizza, drinks
